Add recurring income and costs
- 1Open Budget from the sidebar. It opens on Run-rate.
- 2Click Add cost or Add income, or Add line at the top.
- 3Give it a Name, pick a Category and enter the Amount as it is actually paid: the full quarterly bill, not a third of it.
- 4Choose How often, then the First payment. Leave Ends empty if it keeps going.
- 5Save. The four figures at the top update straight away: Recurring income per month, Recurring costs per month, what is left over (or burned) each month, and Result over 12 months.
Quarterly and yearly amounts are spread. A 30 000 quarterly rent counts as 10 000 a month in the run-rate. Once lines are listed but not counted, because they do not repeat.
Lines that have not started or have ended stay visible. They are shown under their category, marked Ended or with their start date, but only lines running today count.
Subscription income is automatic. The Income section shows the monthly value of every active subscription, marked automatic. To change it, change the subscriptions.
Cash and runway. Viewing all companies (or your only one), the top row also shows Cash today: the same balance the Liquidity forecast starts from, read from your accounting system when one is connected. When the business is burning money, Runway is how many months that cash lasts at today's burn.
Click a category to see its lines. Hover a line to edit or delete it.
