Connect Dropbox
- 1Open Dokumentlagring from the sidebar.
- 2On the Dropbox card, start the connection and sign in to the Dropbox account where your team keeps documents.
- 3Approve the requested file access.
- 4Choose where documents should be saved, then confirm with Spara här.
- 5If you want new uploads to go to Dropbox, choose Ange som aktiv on its card.
Choosing the folder
On a Dropbox Business account you are asked where documents belong, because there is a real choice: your company's shared team folders, or your own private Dropbox files. Both are listed when you open the picker, and each one says which it is.
Pick a shared company folder. Everyone then sees the same documents from inside Dropbox, and the documents stay with the business rather than with one person's account. A folder marked as your own is allowed, but nobody else can reach those documents in Dropbox and they leave with you.
On a personal Dropbox there is nothing to choose, so DealJourney creates a folder named for your workspace and uses that.
Moving documents you have already saved
Open the Dropbox card and choose Byt mapp at any time. When documents are already filed, the picker offers Flytta dokumenten som redan är sparade — everything filed so far moves to the new place, and the links from your records follow it. Turn that off to leave the old folder alone and start filing fresh in the new one.
Checking it worked
The card shows Ansluten after sign-in, with the folder you chose underneath. Only the Aktiv provider receives new uploads; files already stored with another provider stay there and remain linked to their records.
Upload a small file to a test customer and check that it appears in the customer's folder in Dropbox. See Record folders for how folders and records are linked.
If the Dropbox card says the service is not switched on, contact DealJourney support. This is a DealJourney setup step, not a setting in your Dropbox account.
