See in Outlook which emails are already saved in DealJourney
When you save an email to a record from the DealJourney add-in in Outlook, the email also gets the Outlook category DealJourney. You can then see in the message list which emails are already saved, without opening each one.
It happens on its own a few seconds after you save. Your own categories on the email stay as they are; DealJourney only adds its own.
An email saved before this existed gets the category the next time you open it in the add-in and save it again. It is not saved twice: the add-in says it is already saved and only adds the category.
Show only saved emails. In Outlook, filter or sort the message list by category, or search for category:DealJourney.
The category has no colour at first. Outlook shows it without a colour until you give it one. Right-click the email, open Categorize, and give DealJourney a colour in All categories. That is a one-time choice in your own Outlook.
When no category appears
- Your Outlook mailbox is not connected in DealJourney. The category is set through the same connection that brings your mail and calendar into DealJourney. Connect it under E-post & Kalender: Connect Outlook or Microsoft 365.
- The email is in a shared mailbox. Only emails in your own mailbox are marked. The add-in still shows that the email is saved.
- Your organisation has limited what DealJourney may change in your mailbox. Saving still works and the add-in shows it; only the mark is missing.
In every one of these cases the email is still saved on the record. The add-in always shows whether the email you have open is saved, and by whom.
Removing the category in Outlook does not remove the email from DealJourney, and removing the email from a record does not remove the category.
