See who changed a product's price or cost

DealJourney keeps a history of every change to a product: its price, its cost, its price in each currency or price list, and its other fields. Each entry shows what the value was before, what it became, who changed it and when. Nothing has to be switched on.

Look at a product's history

1. 1On the Products page, open the product.
2. 2Choose Ändringslogg at the top of the product.
3. 3The newest changes come first, grouped by day. A price in another currency reads as Pris i {{currency}}, with the currency filled in.
4. 4To see only price changes, type the field name, for example Pris, in Filtrera på fält.
5. 5Choose Detaljer to go back to the product.

A change made by an integration, an import or an automation is marked Automatisk and names the system that made it, never the colleague whose login it ran under. See what was changed on a record, by whom and when explains how changes are attributed.

Things to know

• History starts when it was switched on for products. A price changed before that shows no entry, and who changed it cannot be found out afterwards.
• Prices that DealJourney works out from the base price and the exchange rate are not listed separately; the change to the base price is.
• Quotes and subscriptions keep the price they were made with. Changing the catalogue price does not change them: Prices, VAT and margin.
