Set starting cash and what is included

The projection is only as useful as the starting figure and the sources you include. Both live under Settings.

  1. 1Open Liquidity forecast from the sidebar.
  2. 2Click Settings.
  3. 3Set Cash in the bank today. What you actually have available right now. The forecast starts from this number as of today and adds every incoming and outgoing payment from there. With an accounting system connected you can Use the balance from {{erp}} instead of Enter it manually. Untick any bank accounts that are not spendable cash — Untick anything that should not count as cash you can spend.
  4. 4Switch on the sources that should feed the timeline: Include unpaid invoices, Include active subscriptions, Include supplier invoices, Include pipeline deals.
  5. 5Optionally Adjust for payment behaviorShift expected invoice dates by each customer’s historical payment lateness.
  6. 6Save.

A typed starting balance does not update by itself. It is not read from your accounting system, so it will not update by itself - set it again whenever it has drifted. If you are not reading it from accounting, set it again whenever it has drifted.

Pipeline deals are weighted, not booked. Open opportunities, weighted by win probability, on their expected close date. Treat them as shape, not as cash you can spend.

Supplier invoices only appear if they have been synced from accounting. Outgoing bills synced from your accounting system. Without that connection, this toggle has nothing to include.

For how many future subscription bills to project, set Subscription cycles to project.
